While We are in Bukit Bintang, Malaysia

If you happened to visit Malaysia then you have to visit this area, Bukit Bintang. Bukit Bintang is like Orchard Street in Singapore.

It is the place where you can find anything you want, from good hotels for staying, good pedestrian for walking, good surrounding for sightseeing, good restaurants to eat, and good choices for shopping where you can spend your money on your own selection. This place is the central of the capital city and this means you can find everything in the middle of the heart of Malaysia.
Bukit Bintang has Menara KL, the famous tower beside the Twin Tower of Petronas. You can take its picture at night and you can get amazing results since it has beautiful lights on the top of the tower at night. Even you just take 10 minutes of walk from Bukit Bintang to see the famous Twin Tower. It is near, right?
Bukit Bintang also has a popular street which are famous for its culinary. It is none other than Jalan Alor/Alor street. It has so many Chinese foods which are sold in the open restaurant like an open air food-stall with so many chairs and tables on both the sides of the street. You can pick any foods you want for cheap price or you just walk by while taking picture of the cook who is using his giant wok for stirring some vegetables or making fried rice. The menu is mostly you cannot find in the restaurant or hotel.
Another famous street in Bukit Bintang is Bintang Walk. It is not famous for its beer or cafe (Bintang is a beer brand in Indonesia. Bintang Walk in Malaysia means popular for its shopping malls from the premium to high-street fashion shops. For premium mall, you can go to Pavilliun Mall or Suria KLCC Mall, but for high-street one, you can go to the BTS (Berjaya Time Square).
Other famous street are Kasturi Street, Jonker street, and Petaling street. In Kasturi street you can find so many Malaysian merchandise vendors, fake brands sellers, local street foods or snack, and some handicrafts vendors. Jonker street is famous for the Central Market which is filled with more stuffs and vendors. The vendors located in Jonker street are similar type with Kasturi Street. Both type of the vendors are also found in the Petaling street.
Me and my wife were just walking for 5 consecutive days around Bukit Bintang and our heart is so contented. We are so happy that finally we can spend our week in Bukit Bintang and resulted an happy ending for us.
